About Michael Frey 

Michael Frey is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He earned his bachelor's degree from Brandeis University then attended Howard University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at North Shore University Hospital, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Frey has won numerous teaching, research, and clinical awards in his twenty years of practice.

Dr. Frey is an established physician with over twenty years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology. Before joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Frey was on faculty at Montefiore Health Center where he served as an attending physician and assistant professor at the Einstein College of Medicine.

 

He is active in educating medical students and residents alike and has been awarded for his research in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Frey takes pride in the bonds built with his patients and seeks to advance women's care by taking into account the science coupled with the benefits of exercise, personal safety, and proper nutrition.

Prior to residency, Dr. Frey was a member of a research team at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. During his residency, he received a research award from the New York Obstetrical Society and was awarded Best Teaching Resident two years in a row. He has been elected to membership in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, The Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Frey lives in Westchester with his wife and two boys.
