N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) is a supplement with a bunch of different uses and perks. It's a form of the amino acid cysteine and is famous for its antioxidant benefits.


Antioxidants fight free radicals, which are harmful compounds in the body that damage cell membranes and DNA.


Uses of N-Acetyl-Cysteine

  • Antioxidant Support: NAC helps to replenish glutathione, a powerful antioxidant in the body.

  • Respiratory Health: It is used to help relieve symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other respiratory conditions by thinning mucus.
